APTA Expo Dallas September 2005

Exhibiting for the first time at Expo 2005, Adaptaflex will be showing examples of its extensive range of metallic, non-metallic and composite flexible conduit systems and accessories for the protection of electrical power, data, signaling, image and telecommunications cabling.

Optimizing protective capabilities with ease of installation, many of the systems are dedicated to meeting stringent fire performance approvals, for railway rolling stock, trackside and underground areas as well as building applications such as bus stations, rail stations, airports and ferry terminals.

“APTA EXPO 2005 provides us with a great opportunity to showcase our products to an important market sector,” explained John Austin of Adaptaflex. “We've supplied product to a number of leading manufacturers in the US and managed to show significant savings over traditional metallic products both in cost, time and weight".

“No other manufacturer can offer such a diverse and versatile range of flexible conduit systems. This broad spread of products is the result of the company's continuous investment program.”

Adaptaflex has a range of UL recognized and compliant products for the US market, with NPT threads, liquid tight performance and the unique Adaptalok one-piece, fast-fit push and twist fitting, which ensures liquid tight integrity without the need for tools.

The company has extensive expertise of working closely with rolling stock manufacturers on major locomotive, light rail and bus projects worldwide as well as on strategic trackside applications. It also boasts international recognition on fire and safety, particularly with its range of low fire hazard systems. These combine low smoke with zero halogen and where applicable, zero nitrogen capabilities, particularly appropriate when used in buildings where public safety is paramount.

All the products are fully detailed in the 48-page Adaptaflex catalogue, copies of which will be available at the Exposition. US distribution is based in Chicago, Adaptaflex Cable Management Products c/o 1005, N.Commons Drive, Aurora, Illinois 60504. Tel: (630) 723 0470. Fax: (630) 851 7744.
