TAKE CONTROL OF HEATERS WITH RUN-BACK TIMERS FROM THE ADAPTAFLEX ENERGY SAVING CAMPAIGNHaving a high power electrical device operating beyond your control can certainly impact on your electricity bill and throw out any attempt at proactive ‘Energy Saving'. However, the use of a run-back timer can put the control back into the hands of the bill payer.
As part of Adaptaflex's Energy Saving campaign, electronic run-back timers are one of the products being promoted through Adaptaflex's Super and Premier stockist throughout the UK and their use can help cut energy bills, significantly.
Use of Energy Saving Timers alleviates the problem of appliances, such as heaters or ventilation systems, being left on continuously when nobody is using the controlled area. They can provide significant energy savings, particularly when used to control 3kW electric heaters, and soon payback the initial cost of the timers.
The electronic run-back timer allows an appliance to be powered for a set period of time and via an easy-to-read LED display shows the user how much time is left. Adjustable in 15 minute increments, the unit has a time range from 15 minutes to 2 hours and an intelligent memory allows the timer to remember the last set time period.
It can handle a powerful 20 Amp output rating for heating, ideal to control immersion heaters and panel heaters, while it can also be used for ventilation fans and lighting. An On/Off button permits the user to cancel the timing during operation, if required.
Other Energy Management Products available as part of the special Adaptaflex promotion include, Elkay pneumatic and electronic push button timers, electronic PIR timers and electronic touch timers, all of which are in stock and available at participating stockists. The timers can be pre-set during installation, with run times ranging from 1 second up to 2 hours.
Energy saving makes sound economical sense in light of legislation, such as the European Directive on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control and the Climate Change Levy. - Ends -
