ONE-PIECE FLEXIBLE CONDUIT CLIPS FROM ADAPTAFLEX COMBINE EASE OF USE WITH SPEED OF INSTALLATIONOne-piece, fast fit conduit clips from Adaptaflex, for use with non-metallic flexible conduit systems, now benefits from a more flexible hinge system.
The range comes in eight metric sizes, suitable for popular conduit systems from 10mm through to 54mm nominal diameter. Made from PA (Nylon) 66, the clips are available in black or grey to complement the Adaptaflex range of non metallic flexible conduits.
A unique hinged lid ensures excellent conduit retention even in vibrating applications and is aesthetically pleasing. In use, the clips provide a quick, simple and low cost installation. Internal flanges locate in the conduit corrugations giving a positive click fix to prevent any movement of the conduit through the clip. The lid is then closed and a double click indicates positive fixing. Should there be a requirement to remove the conduit, the lid can easily be released using a screwdriver.
Ease of fixing is provided via a single, central fixing hole in the base of the clip, with a moulded hexagon for retention of a captive nut should standard bolt fixing be required, for example, by OEMs on machine build applications. The clips can also be fixed using a screw or pop-rivet.
The unique two-part hinge has been re-engineered to afford greater flexibility as part of Adaptaflex's Xtra – Raising the Standard – programme. Fully tested for its strength, flexibility and operational durability it ensures the clip remains a single device with no parts to lose.
Specifically designed and developed by Adaptaflex, the clips afford quick, easy-to-use, neat and positive fixing and can, if required, be re-used to provide a neat and tidy appearance to any flexible conduit run offering the necessary support and fixing.
