WHERE ENERGY SAVING IS AN ISSUE ADAPTAFLEX OFFERS A NEW RANGE OF ENERGY MANAGEMENT CONTROLSWhere saving energy makes sound economical sense in light of legislation such as the European Directive on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control and the Climate Change Levy, Adaptaflex is introducing Energy Management systems to its product range from the Elkay range of cable management products.
Including lighting timers, heating controls and energy switches, the range is designed for use within offices, retail premises, industrial or domestic environments or wherever the cost-effective control of electrical energy is required. The units enable the control of use or misuse of valuable energy for lighting, heating and ventilation. All the products are available from stock at Adaptaflex and can be purchased from electrical wholesalers along with standard flexible conduit products.
A comprehensive range of adjustable time delay switches includes pneumatic and electronic, touch activated, heavy duty timers and remote timers for flush or surface mounting, in most cases utilising standard back boxes. Pull cord timer, passive infra-red (PIR) timer and PIR with Lux level adjustment and microwave sensor switches with 30 metre dead ahead and 6 metre width capability as well as electronic timers for heating and ventilation controls are also available. Options include no neutral requirement for lighting applications and neutral feed versions for general use.
For added security, energy management isolation switches with key or key card activation prevent unauthorised use and can be installed on a standard 32mm deep back box.
Specifically designed for use outdoors is a range of weatherproof timers, while remote activated units are ideal for use in staircases and corridors. These units can be installed away from accessible areas and operated via remote slave activator switches.
