Adaptaflex at Middle East Electricity Exhibition Middle East Electricity Exhibition, Dubai, 10th – 13th February, 2008 Adaptaflex Ltd Stand No: ZM10
Visitors to the Middle East Electricity Exhibition can view examples of metallic and non-metallic flexible conduit systems from world-leading manufacturer, Adaptaflex Ltd.
Adaptaflex, who will be on the Electromec stand, will be demonstrating why their systems are so popular, resulting in record sales for 2007 and will be introducing their new and unique Adaptalok ATS conduit fitting.
The company already boasts a choice of 15 different metallic conduit systems manufactured in galvanised steel or stainless steel. Three different conduit types provide a solution for liquid resistant specifications with a further three liquid tight covered steel available for especially demanding environments. Also on show will be a wide range of metallic fittings, specifically designed to maintain system integrity.
Adaptaflex metallic systems have the advantages of high compression strength, impact resistance, excellent temperature tolerance and a low fire risk. The Adaptaflex non-metallic range provides over 20 types of flexible conduit system, offering different properties depending on the cable management application.
The non-metallic conduit has the advantage of being light, non-rusting and quick to install as it can be cut to fit. In addition, it boasts a wide variety of fittings giving the system excellent flexibility. One of the most popular products in the Adaptaflex non-metallic range is Adaptalok, which provides not only the fastest fit and installation time of any flexible conduit system but also the widest range of fitting for any given application for the protection of electrical cables.
The highly versatile, one-piece Adaptalok system offers fast, easy installation with push and twist fittings and IP66 ingress protection as standard. Over 33 different fittings are available in a variety of sizes to cover the most demanding applications. The big advantage of the system, however, is the speed of installation which visitors to the Electromec stand will be able to see for themselves.
The result of extensive development, the ATS one piece fitting provides the highest possible performance in a single component. The unique ‘twin shot' moulding technique combines nylon and elastomer materials providing an internal conduit seal and face seal washer as an integral part of the component. Fitted with a simple ‘push and twist' action, the fitting requires no tools and importantly provides IP69 ingress protection.
Both the metallic and non-metallic ranges boast a range of recognised industry approvals including the British Kitemark, CE approval, DB and UL listings amongst others.
Given the wide choice of conduit systems which Adaptaflex provide, the extensive array of fittings and the fact that they are quick and easy to install, it is no surprise that their systems are in use in high profile installations around the world from international airports, conference and exhibition centres to rail terminals, hotels, shopping centres, banks and public buildings.
