Adaptaflex at MOTEK Exhibition Hall 1-G Stand 1930 MOTEK Exhibition, Stuttgart, Germany, 24 - 27th September , 2007 Adaptaflex Hall No:1-G Stand No: 1930
Demonstrating a wealth of product knowledge and expertise, Adaptaflex is showing its comprehensive range of flexible conduit systems for use on automated and handling systems.
Designed to contain and protect wiring systems operating in the highly demanding environment with continuous cycling machinery, and high speed, repetitive movement, the company offers a range of dedicated systems, such as Adaptaring, Adaptalok and braided conduit. All afford high flexibility, excellent pull-off strength and the ability to fully protect the wiring system ensuring system integrity.
Where continuous movement, vibration, high speed and continuous cycling automated systems are concerned, Adaptaring has been specifically designed by Adaptaflex to deal with all the stresses relating to such applications. Its ability to work at high speed for long period with total reliability is down to the material composition and the specific fittings. A freely rotating swivel, compression fitting used in conjunction with Type PA, PI, CP and PR flexible conduit provides an ideal solution.
The Adaptaring system is available in a full range of nominal conduit sizes from 13mm through to 54mm in metric and PG thread options, with PF and NPT thread options also available. Fittings for the system are available as standard straight and 90° elbow, all with fixed external threads, as well as a rotational inspection ‘T' pieces, incorporating compression fittings.
Type PI flexible conduit is highly flexible and particularly suited for robotic applications being made from modified Polyamide 11. Ideal for repetitious movement, it is available in a full range of sizes and is compatible with Adaptalok, push and twist, one-piece fittings, providing IP66 ingress protection rating as standard.
Where applications are within arduous areas then Adaptaflex braided flexible conduit systems offer a complete protection in addition to EMI screening and antistatic characteristics. They are suited to the most demanding environments and various braiding can be used to suit individual conditions.
Typical application within automation using Adaptaflex systems include, pick-n-place robotics, material handling systems, conveyor and loading systems, inspection, measurement and test in addition to automated cleanroom installations.
All the systems are fully detailed in the new Cable Management Solutions catalogue from Adaptaflex copies of which are available on the Motek stand or from NSV Gmbh, Badenheimer Strasse 21, D-55576, Sprendlingen, Germany.
