Adaptalok not only saves you time but it also has the easiest to use fittings

Not only offering the fastest fit and installation time of any flexible conduit systems, but Adaptalok also provides the widest range of fitting for any given application for the protection of electrical cables.

The highly versatile, one piece Adaptalok non-metallic conduit system offers fast, easy installation, with push and twist fittings and IP66 ingress protection, as standard.

Whilst maintaining its ease of use and IP66 ingress protection rating, Adaptalok offers over 33 different fittings, available in a variety of sizes to cover the most demanding applications.

Fittings in the range include: straight, 45º and 90º curved elbows, fixed and swivel panel mount flanges, metal swivel options, swivel couplers as well as three-way couplers, push-in fittings for standard knockouts and a range of UNEF circular connectors.

Pushing the boundaries even further, now it's possible to achieve one of the most demanding IP ratings with the Adaptalok non-metallic flexible conduit system. The use of a high visibility yellow insert seal made from thermoplastic elastomer means the system can be upgraded from its standard IP66 rating, making it ideal for applications where a higher IP rating is required. These seals are available for standard weight , fine pitch conduit from 13 to 21mm and for coarse pitch, standard weight conduit from 21 to 54mm. The system can be upgraded to IP67/IP68 (1.1 bar 30 mins) and IP69K to DIN 40050, this was independently tested by MIRA in 2002. Adaptaflex was the first UK conduit manufacturer to have its products independently tested to this standard.

The big advantage of Adaptalok is the speed of installation. This is clearly demonstrated on a new assembly video clip, which features on the Adaptaflex website – www.adaptaflex.co.uk/videos.asp . As can be seen, significant time can be saved by simply pushing a fitting home and achieve an ingress protection of IP66 in seconds. It is much quicker using Adaptalok than some two or three part fittings, where locating a fitting on to conduit, making sure the seal is in position, tightening up the securing cap nut and ensuring the system's IP rating all take precious time to complete. On a contract, you can multiply that process several hundred times over and watch the time disappear and the cost of the job outstrip the allocated time.

There are lots more time saving advantages that Adaptaflex have developed and introduced just check out the Cable Management Solutions brochure.
