Adaptaflex to sponsor Tommy Hill in the British Superbike Championship 2007

British Superbike Championship racer Tommy Hill is ‘chomping at the bit' for the start of the new season , which gets underway at Brands Hatch on Easter weekend, April 7,8,9, and he is again sponsored by the UK's fastest growing and No1 flexible conduit systems manufacturer Adaptaflex.

“It's tremendous to have the backing from Adaptaflex again, particularly as this has the potential to be a really great season for the team,” explained Tommy. He spearheads the Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha team's campaign in the Championship, with team mate James Haydon.

Riding a new Yamaha YZF R1 this season, Tommy also makes the grid in the World Superbike Championship rounds in the UK this year. “It's an added bonus for the team and will certainly help us get more international recognition.”

The season gets underway with the first three rounds all taking place in April, in what promises to be a very busy month and Tommy and the Virgin Media Optoma Loans Yamaha team particularly eager to get off to a good start. For Tommy the first round at Brands Hatch is at his local circuit and after some promising Winter testing on the new Yamaha he is certainly looking forward to doing well in front of his ‘home' crowd.

With 13 action packed rounds in the British Superbike Championship, spaced out over 11 different venues there promises to be never a dull moment. Venues include: Thruxton, Silverstone, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Mondello Park, Knockhill, Mallory Park , Cadwell Park and Donington Park.

“There's a huge interest in the Superbike series within our industry and our customer base,” said Dave White, Sales Director of Adaptaflex. “Continuing our sponsorship of Tommy not only gives us a presence at the track, which links well with customer days, but Tommy is also a great ambassador in visiting our manufacturing facility in Coleshill to meet our employees. As a result there is terrific Team interest in following his progress throughout the season.”

Tommy carries Adaptaflex logos on his leathers in every round of the Championship, which will again features on mainstream ITV Sport and Sky Sport. “We do a number of TV interviews throughout the season,” explained Tommy, “and I've already completed a couple of pre-season interviews with the promise of more exposure for the market leading Adaptaflex brand as the season approaches.”
