Adaptaflex celebrates 20 years down under Adaptaflex, the market leading flexible conduit system brand in the U.K, is celebrating twenty successful years in Australia represented by Adaptaflex Pty headed up by Barry Koski.
Adaptaflex Pty. Ltd was started by Barry and his wife Eugenia in November 1986 in Oakleigh, near Melbourne, Victoria and has grown over the years with regional distribution outlets in
Wetherill Park, New South Wales and Summer Park, Queensland. Currently the market leading flexible conduit system brand in the UK, Adaptaflex is now represented in over 40 countries throughout the world by regional subsidiaries and a network of distributors. Barry Koski, who is Canadian by birth but describes himself as Australian by choice, has lived in the country for 34 years and worked in the electrical industry for 30 years.
His 16 years of selling Adaptaflex to wholesalers have been his most successful and he attributes this to the wide range of products available, together with the success of products such as Adaptalok, the one-piece push-on fitting for use with non-metallic conduits.
The self proclaimed “King of Konduit” commented on the Australian market “In the last twenty years, I have witnessed many changes in a marketplace that has seen competitors come and go.
I remain convinced that working with Adaptaflex will mean that together, we are best placed to enjoy continued success for the next twenty years.”
