New light weight flexible conduit There is now an addition to the range of Type PI non-metallic flexible conduits available from Adaptaflex with the introduction of the new light weight conduit.
Highly flexible and particularly suited for robotic applications, the new conduit is made from modified Polyamide 11 in a thinner gauge. Ideal for repetitious movement, as found on robotic and machine applications, it is available in a full range of sizes and is extremely competitively priced.
Type PI flexible conduit is particularly suited for applications featuring, rapid or continuous motion, which demand high fatigue life and extra flexibility. It is also suited for use in low temperature environments.
The conduit offers a complete range of light weight, standard weight and heavy weight options from 10mm through to 54mm nominal conduit size and in fine or coarse pitch. Light and standard weights are available in black or grey, while the heavy weight version is available in black only.
Its use is compatible with Adaptalok, push and twist, one-piece fittings; Adaptaseal liquid tight compression fittings and Adaptaring freely rotating swivel compression fittings. The Adaptaring fittings are ideally suited for robotic applications or indoor CCTV mounting heads, facilitating constant rotation or twisting of the conduit.
